HiPP Organic Goat Milk Formula range explained

Premium goat milk formulas for sensitive tummies

Goat milk closely resembles breast milk and is easy to digest, as the A2 proteins found in goat milk are similar to those found in breast milk. A2 proteins are considered less allergenic and easier to digest than cow milk proteins. HiPP Organic Goat Milk Formulas are ideal for babies with food sensitivities or colic.

Other parents' questions about HiPP Goat

Frequently asked questions (FAQ)

Do the HiPP Goat Milk formulas contain starch?

All HiPP Goat Milk formulas are starch-free, making them extra gentle on your baby's tummy.

For what ages is HiPP Goat Milk Stage 2 suitable?

HiPP Goat Milk Stage 2 is suitable for babies from 6 months onwards. It is also suitable as toddler milk for as long as your child drinks milk formula.

My baby has a cow's milk allergy. Can I feed goat formula instead?

When your baby has a verified cow's milk protein allergy, goat milk formulas will most likely be no alternative. The structure of goat milk proteins is similar to cow milk proteins. Thus, goat milk can lead to the same allergic reactions. Most people with a cow's milk allergy also react to goat milk.

However, goat milk formulas can be a good alternative when your baby has a mild cow's milk sensitivity or needs a gentler milk formula due to tummy troubles or colic issues.

Why is goat milk so easy to digest for babies?

Cow milk usually contains a mixture of A1 and A2 beta-casein. HiPP Goat Milk, however, contains only A2 beta-casein just like breast milk. A2 milk is scientifically associated with good tolerance and is particularly beneficial for sensitive tummies. That's why goat milk is very similar to breast milk in consistency, taste, and tolerance.

Do the HiPP Goat formulas contain corn syrup?

A clear no! No German baby formula, regardless of the brand, contains corn syrup, a common ingredient in American formulas. The European Union prohibits using corn syrup in baby formulas, as it is not considered a beneficial ingredient for infants.
