HiPP BIO Stage 1 is for babies from 0 to 6 months. The formula provides all the vital vitamins and minerals for your baby’s healthy growth. Lactose and starch are the primary sources of carbohydrates in the formula. The inclusion of starch contributes to its smooth and creamy texture, which is particularly appealing to babies. The formula is ideal as a complement to breast milk or as a nutritionally complete breast milk substitute for formula-fed babies.

HiPP BIO PRE contains only milk sugar (lactose) – just like breast milk.

HiPP BIO Stage 1 also contains starch. Starch makes the formula more creamy and filling, and many babies prefer stage 1 formulas. Even though babies can digest starch from day one, some babies do better on formulas without starch. HiPP BIO Stage 1 is ideal for infants who still appear hungry after feeding or prefer a creamier texture.

What is the difference between HiPP BIO formulas and HiPP Combiotik formulas?

First of all, all HiPP formulas contain all the vital nutrients needed for healthy growth and development. If your baby has normal digestion and bowel movements, HiPP BIO formulas are a good choice for your baby. Whereas HiPP Combiotik formulas can be a better option for sensitive baby tummies as the Combiotic range also contains natural lactic acid cultures (probiotics) and valuable fiber (prebiotics), supporting a healthy gut.

What's the difference between HiPP BIO 1+ Year and HiPP Combiotik 1+ Year Toddler Milk?

The HiPP Combiotik range includes natural lactic acid cultures (probiotics) and beneficial fibers (prebiotics) that promote a healthy gut. Additionally, it contains natural folate (Metafolin), which is more easily absorbed than folic acid. Metafolin supports cell division and boosts the overall health of your baby.

HiPP BIO 1+ Toddler Milk does not contain prebiotics, probiotics or Metafolin.

Please note that all HiPP toddler formulas contain all the vital nutrients needed for healthy growth and development for your toddler. If your child has normal digestion and bowel movements, HiPP BIO 1+ Toddler Milk is a good choice.
